This season our Moline Lady Maroons Varsity Basketball team has had a record of 4-3 so far. The players include Jada Tatum (10), Caroline Hazen (12), Kadence Tatum (13), Charlie’s Martel (14), Nadi McDowell-Nunn (20), Jazmine Cunningham (22), Paige Melton (24), Layla Jackson (30), Tahlea Tirrell (32), Nailah Anders (33), Renee Shipp (34), Isabella Smith (40), Samantha Veto (43), Halen Hotchkiss (50), and coach Adrian Ritchie. 

The first game this season was on November 1st, and the first home game was on December 9th versus UTHS. On the December 9th game against the Panthers, we saw some excellent work from the whole team. Both teams made some great plays and shots throughout the game with Caroline Hazen scoring 14 points and Kadence Tatum notching 19 points. In the end, the Lady Maroons came out victorious with an end score of 58-48. 

The Lady Maroons are looking forward to the rest of the season and the holiday play ahead of them.

The Maroons are currently in 4th place in the Western Big Six with a 5-4 record (13-12 overall). The Marrons travel to UTHS on Thursday
